Senior Charlotte Connolly was named the Outstanding Undergraduate Scalia Scholar by the Geography Department at Ohio University.
Connolly, a Geography major in the Honors Tutorial College, also was named an Outstanding Graduating Senior.
The Outstanding Undergraduate Scalia Scholar award is given annually to a graduating senior on the basis of academic performance and research and other scholarly contributions to the Scalia Laboratory. Although the award is typically given to a Geography-Meteorology major, any student who has taken coursework in the meteorology major and/or has performed research or scholarly activity on behalf of the Scalia Laboratory for Atmospheric Analysis is eligible for the award.
