The Ohio University Alumni Association Facebook page hosts a reading by creative writing alumni for the recently released anthology Welcome to the Neighborhood: An Anthology of American Coexistence, edited by Ohio University alumna Dr. Sarah Green.
The reading will be live and posted to the OHIO Alumni Association Facebook page on May 14, at 4:30 p.m. The total time of the recording is just over 36 minutes.
Green earned a Ph.D. in English from the College of Arts & Sciences at OHIO in 2015. She is Assistant Professor of English at St. Cloud State University.
Published by Ohio University Press, the book features essays about living in diverse communities. Welcome to the Neighborhood includes work from award-winning writers such as Rita Dove, Jonathan Escoffery, Ross Gay, Joy Harjo, Edward Hirsch, Marie Howe, and Robert Pinsky, and a number of Bobcat poets and prose writers as well.
