Dr. Steve Evans, Distinguished Professor of Psychology, served as the 2019 Ohio University Fall Commencement speaker on Dec. 14.
In the video above, Evans previews his Commencement speech and invites everyone to come out this weekend to celebrate the more than 900 fall graduates who earned associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
Evans is co-director of the Center for Intervention Research in Schools in the College of Arts & Sciences. The center was created to improve the lives of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems through school-based interventions and supports. Through the center, Evans helps prepare OHIO students to conduct interdisciplinary treatment outcome research and become effective practitioners.
