What is AmeriCorps? What opportunities are available? How do students apply?
Attend an AmeriCorps Panel Discussion on Monday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Alden Library 319. Refreshments will be served.
AmeriCorps, the national service project, allows college students to gain full-time real world experience in their field of interest. Students are paid $13,732 per year with an educational award of $5,920 applied to past or future educational debt.
AmeriCorps is open to everyone, and applicants do not need to be a current student. Opportunities exist in all states. Positions include non-profit organizations, agencies, schools and community based-programs.
