Find Out about AmeriCorps Opportunities at Panel Discussion, Feb. 25

What is AmeriCorps? What opportunities are available? How do students apply?

Attend an AmeriCorps Panel Discussion on Monday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Alden Library 319. Refreshments will be served.

Americorps logoAmeriCorps, the national service project, allows college students to gain full-time real world experience in their field of interest. Students are paid $13,732 per year with an educational award of $5,920 applied to past or future educational debt.

AmeriCorps is open to everyone, and applicants do not need to be a current student. Opportunities exist in all states. Positions include non-profit organizations, agencies, schools and community based-programs.
