This November, the Innovation Center, CoLab and the Career and Leadership Development Center are launching Students to Startups, a career event connecting Southeastern Ohio-based startups with Ohio University students. This event will provide an insider’s look at the entrepreneurship experience and startup culture.
Students to Startups is Nov. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m.
- 5 p.m. Keynote and QA with Brian Tedeschi, Owner of Think Communications Inc. – CoLab, Alden Library 301
- 6 p.m. Startups Pitch Session – Baker University Center, 5th Floor, Suite 503
- 7 p.m. Networking Reception – Baker University Center, 5th Floor, Atrium
Beginning at CoLab, a new space, designed as a physical hub for many of the student innovation and entrepreneurship activities taking place across campus, Students to Startups will launch with a keynote address from Brian Tedeschi, a 1988 OHIO graduate, Tedeschi co-founded Think Communications Inc., a fully integrated product launch communications agency serving clients in healthcare (device and services), consumer (shopper marketing and food) and specialty markets (product launch, creative, public relations, advertising, marketing). Following the keynote, attendees will move to Baker University Center to hear startups pitch their companies and career opportunities. The event will culminate in a networking reception in the fifth floor atrium of Baker University Center.
