An “Increasing Your Grants Intelligence” workshop is open to Ohio University faculty on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. in Baker 242.
The workshop, designed to enhance faculty grant submissions and funding success, includes brief presentations by Dr. Joseph Shields, Interim Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, and A&S Research Committee members, as well as an open Q&A session designed to facilitate discussion among investigators from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.
Topics to be covered include:
- Creating a career trajectory of grant writing
- Developing a competitive grant proposal
- Potential funding sources
- Developing a budget
- Assembling a strong investigative team
- Grant funding resources available at Ohio University
- Personal stories and questions from the participants
Light refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited to 50 participants.
