Alana Newman (LinkedIn)
Ohio University alum Alana Newman ’09 was named a visiting lecturer at Monmouth College for 2018-19, according to a Monmouth announcement.
Newman earned her undergraduate degree in classical civilizations from Ohio University. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, receiving a master’s degree in classical art and archaeology and a doctorate in classics.

In addition to earning a B.A. in Classical Civilization from the College of Arts & Sciences, Newman was a member of Eta Sigma Phi (Classics Honors Society) and Phi Beta Kappa.
