The “Climate Change and Ethics” workshop is open to all interested Ohio University faculty. Faculty will meet several times this semester: Fridays at 4 p.m. on Feb. 7, Feb. 28 and March 14, as well as optionally on April 4.
This semester’s discussions will focus mainly on practical problems and concerns relating to education, as well as on debates in the academic-philosophical literature about questions of ethics and justice raised by climate change.
The workshop is led by Alyssa Bernstein, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Director of Ohio University’s Institute for Applied and Professional Ethics (IAPE), in cooperation with the Sustainability Curricular Theme Initiative. To express interest, contact bernstei@ohio.edu.
