Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences
The past month has been a busy time on campus as the Autumn semester kicked into high gear and we welcomed many of you alumni back to campus for our Arts & Sciences tent at Homecoming and our first Notable Alumni Awards dinner.
The college’s plan to build more opportunities for our current students and alumni to interact is working. Alumni are sharing their stories and career advice with students, providing contacts for professional networking and helping us grow internship opportunities. We even have alumni like Ed Chow ’70 and Marc Kantrowitz ’72 coming back to campus as visiting professors.
Alumni are an invaluable resource to our students, and I hope you will consider ways that you can join us to ensure that our soon-to-be graduates will hit the ground running as they move forward with life after college.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding the ways you’d like to engage with the College of Arts & Sciences, and for those of you who already are, my sincere gratitude and thanks.
You can contact me directly at frank@ohio.edu. Or you can use our Get Involved form, which lists various opportunities for alumni to engage with the college and our students.
I hope to see many of you at our next big event: the Arts & Sciences Career and Networking Week, featuring an Alumni & Student Networking Reception on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018.
