The Modern Languages Colloquium series presents Dr. Adam “Adi” King discussing “Comics or Cultural Critique? Teaching Outside the Canon Using Graphic Novels” on Monday, Nov. 6, at 4 p.m. in Gordy 113.
The presentation will last approximately 20 to 25 minutes, with a with a question-and-answer period to follow.
King, Associate Lecturer in Modern Languages, coordinates first- and second-year German courses at Ohio University.
He recently presented “A Crash Course into the Gutter: Adapting Graphic Novels into the L2-Classroom” at the 2017 Ohio German Studies Workshop at Ohio State University, and it was very well received.
