Ohio University alum Matthew A. Wisecup ’05 was named partner at Kentucky’s eighth largest law firm, reports the Times Journal.

Matthew is a 2001 graduate of Oak Hill High School and son of Richard and Susan Wisecup of Oak Hill. He is a 2005 graduate of Ohio University, summa cum laude, where he was awarded Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Spanish and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and a 2008 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was awarded his Juris Doctorate and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board.
Since joining McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland, Matthew has devoted his practice to representing clients in both Ohio and Kentucky in a range of legal matters, including custody, divorce, criminal defense, personal injury, Workers’ Compensation, and bankruptcy.
