One common misconception that I hear from students is that it is best to seek help after you have started to struggle in a class. By that point, however, it may already be too late! Even if you aren’t having trouble yet, wouldn’t it be better to understand your course content more fully? Asking for help doesn’t mean that you can’t do the work; it just means that you want to engage in your education more. So, I want to encourage all of you to seek help now. Whether that means going to SI sessions, visiting the Math and Science center, scheduling sessions with a tutor, going to the Writing Center, attending office hours with your professors, et cetera. We are here to help!
