This year’s lecture, “Sex, Racial Purity, & Imperialism: German Genocide in Africa and the Third Reich,” is presented by Dr. Elizabeth Baer, Research Professor of English and African Studies at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
Her most recent book is The Genocidal Gaze: From German Southwest Africa to the Third Reich (Wayne State University Press, 2017 and the University of Namibia Press, 2018).
