Take a 1-Credit Course on the application process
By Ann LaComb
Pre-Health Advisor
Juniors and seniors, is this is your year to apply to medical, dental, veterinary, optometry, physician assistant, or physical therapy programs?
I invite you to register for UC 1500 Student Transition Seminar – Pre-Medicine
Strengthen your application and take some of the stress out of the application process. This is not just for pre-med. Originally created for Pre-Med (hence, the title in Course Offerings), this class serves to prepare applicants for any health program application.
The Pre-Health Advising Center’s UC 1500 is a 1-credit hour course focused on the steps of the application process and competencies needed for medicine. Polish your personal essay, sharpen your interviewing skills and hear from guest health speakers to strengthen your health communication skills.
This spring semester, the class will meet on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:50 p.m.
If you have a time conflict, let me know and we can arrange to meet and discuss your application plans.
