Students Can Apply to Live in the OHIO Ecohouse

Ohio University’s Ecohouse is available for rent and provides a hands-on sustainable living experience.

Both undergraduate and graduate students can take advantage of the chance to lessen their impact on the Earth while living close to the central Athens Campus (8133 Dairy Lane).

Any student who is eligible to live off-campus can apply to live in the Ecohouse. There is no expectation of previous sustainability experience.

Residents engage in weekly sustainable living workshops to learn more about how to incorporate sustainability into their daily lives. This three-bedroom, one-bathroom house has spacious living and dining rooms with plenty of natural lighting. It is fully furnished and also has an organic garden.
