Ohio University 11th Annual Virtual Meteorology Symposium, March 27

The Ohio University Chapter of the American Meteorological Society hosts the 11th Annual Virtual Meteorology Symposium on Saturday, March 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Sign up for the Symposium and a the link to the Zoom meeting will be emailed to you a few days before the event.

The symposium  features eight guest speakers that work in different sectors of meteorology—AccuWeather, NWS Charleston, USAF, Channel 10TV, Ohio EPA, Weather Works LLC, University of Louisville, and Mount Washinton Observatory.

Each speaker will give a presentation of their line of work and will answer questions from students and the audience.

“It is completely FREE and open to the public. We will be having a 30-minute lunch break as well. We hope to see you there!” says Madelyn Baer ’22, advertising chair of the Ohio University Chapter of the American Meteorological Society.
