Guerrero-Sanchez is an Associate Researcher at the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Abstract: The first part of this talk is devoted to describing the formation of surfaces and interfaces to understand its atomic arrangements and explain/predict experiments on scanning tunneling microscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. We will discuss the magnetic coupling in these arrangements and their effect generated by the surface and interface appearance.
The second part focuses on describing the atomic layer deposition processes of the ZnO growth on carbon-based materials. The theoretical understanding of surface processes such as atomic layer deposition is of great interest to the scientific community. Then the objective is to help experimental groups in the atomic description of these self-limiting reactions.
