Lima is Associate Professor of Instruction in Academic and Global Communications, formerly English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) in the Linguistics Department at Ohio University.
Abstract: Lima will talk about how developing your research and critical analysis skills can help you in your future, whether it is teaching, working in higher education, or pursuing a PhD. This session will outline the fundamentals of conducting research and will include an overview of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods designs as well as an introduction to writing up a research project.
