Following the NBA strike over Jacob Blake’s shooting, professors across the United States will participate on Sept. 8-9 in #ScholarStrike, a 48-hour general strike “to make a collective stand against police violence (particularly against communities of color) in the United States.”
The Center for Law, Justice & Culture will be contributing companion programming in solidarity with all those advocating for an end to police violence on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 3-4:30 p.m. via Teams with a moderated discussion of a short documentary by Laurence Ralph (Princeton), “The Torture Letters.” The discussion features center professors who study race and the law.
- Students and faculty can join in TEAMS.
