As a junior, I live off-campus. The closest location to get food from is Court Street since it’s so conveniently nearby. Out of all the choices to visit, my favorite locations are Wings Over Athens and Ginger.
Wings Over has a variety of chicken wings and sandwiches. There are a large variety of sauces to choose from as well. Wings Over are more on the pricier side, but their food is delicious, and delivery is fast! It’s one of the things I miss most while being away from Athens.
When I’m in the mood for Asian food, I usually head over to Ginger. They’re set up very similar to Chipotle, and their bowls range around the same price.
Working at Retirement Home & Chipotle
Over this past week, a few things have changed at my jobs back at home. The retirement home I work at has changed a few of their policies. It has made our job a bit more difficult, especially when dealing with the elderly population. However, we are doing the best that we can with the tools presented to us to keep everyone safe.
This past Sunday, I got hired at Chipotle. Their policies and regulations align well with the retirement home in regards to the COVID-19 situation.
So far I’m enjoying myself. It is a bit difficult to manage working full-time and school work.
Being home, I have more time to take care of my plants as well! They are important to me because one of my favorite advisers from school gave them to me after overcoming a difficult time. They’re currently still in water, hopefully by May they’re ready to plant!
