Ohio University graduate student Tiffany Bush was named Outstanding Graduate First-Year Student by the Sociology & Anthropology Department.
Bush also received a Shelly Fund award, given by Robert and Ann Shelly to support the collection of original data and/or the purchase of proprietary material by sociology graduate students at Ohio University.
Bush is pursuing an M.A. in Sociology. She was nominated by Dr. Nicole Kaufman, Assistant Professor of Sociology.
“Tiffany Bush is extremely thorough and motivated as a researcher. She has intellectual curiosity and is able to integrate knowledge across settings,” Kaufman says.
“She is extremely organized and reliable. She is a hard worker and very dedicated to helping students learn. In all these areas she is outstanding.”
