Ohio University
In Athens I would typically eat out at least three meals a week to get a change from the dinning halls. Ohio University serves good food in the dinning halls, but eating the same things every week for a semester is something that I cannot do.
Being a freshman and living in Sargent Hall also meant I did not have the luxury of having a kitchen available to me everyday. This situation created the conflict for me between eating at the dinning halls using my meal plan or eating out.
But since coming home, I barely eat out. This is one habit I would like to continue when returning to campus.
While I do not want to eat out as often, here are my top five places to eat in Athens that I miss:
- Fusion: The General Tso bowl has never sounded so good.
- Union Street Diner: The spinach strawberry salad should be on the next-time-to-try list.
- Uptown Grill: Missing the classic chicken and waffles sandwich.
- Ginger: I mean what more can I say expect Ginger.
- Big Mamma’s Burritos: Always making me try something different.
I cannot wait to visit these places once again in the fall semester!
