Coping during COVID | Self-Care During Quarantine

While being in quarantine, I started to make smoothies in the replacement of a few meals. My favorite smoothie I’d make were mango, strawberry, and banana. I’d use:

  • 6 oz. of plain/ french vanilla yogurt
  • 6.5 oz. of milk
  • 2 oz. of frozen mango chunks
  • 2 oz. of strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • a teaspoon of honey
  • about 5-6 ice cubes

Some other things I’d suggest for self-care would be to participate in the online activities the rec has. These are things you can do inside your home.

A few other things, if you go grocery shopping you can get a mud mask. I use “Shea Moisture’s, African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask.” This can be found at Walmart or Target. They also have an amazing deep conditioner called “Raw Shea Butter Moisture Recovery Treatment Masque.” This can also be found at Walmart or Target.

If you’re interested in teeth whitening strips,  I’d recommend “Crest Whitestrips Dental Whitening Treatment.” It comes in a box of 24 (I believe) and can be found at Walmart or Target.

After dinner every night, I take two gummies of “Nature’s Bounty, Hair, Skin & Nail Gummies.” My preference is the strawberry-flavored gummies.
