On International Women’s Day, the Southeast Ohio History Center presents “100 Years of Change: An International Perspective” on Sunday, March 8, from 2 to 4 at the center, 24 W. State St., Athens.
The panel of women representing the Global South will address questions raised in the upcoming exhibit “Ohio Women Vote: 100 Years of Change,” which will be on display at the Southeast Ohio History Center beginning on March 16. Dr. Katherine Jellison, Professor and Chair of History at Ohio University, will moderate the panel. Refreshments will be served.
The speakers include Salome Alusa (Kenya), Elizarni (Indonesia), Namrata Jain (India), Dr. Dina López (El Salvador), and Kutlwano Mokgwathi (Botswana).
