The conference is June 3-5 and aims “to increase visibility to the women making an impact in the analytics space and provide a platform for women to lead the conversations around the advancements of analytical research, development, and applications. Our speaker line-up is the only aspect of the conference that is reserved exclusively for women (using an inclusive definition and welcoming transwomen, as well as genderqueer and non-binary individuals). All other aspects of the conference are open to everyone including attendance, competitions, and sponsorships!” says the website.

Columbus CEO writes that “the conference is attracting heavy hitters to the city. Last year, Avon says attendees flew in from countries including Singapore, Australia, India and Poland. The keynote speaker for 2020 will be Feryal Ozel, an astrophysicist at the University of Arizona and leader on the team that captured the first-ever black hole image. She is considered something of a superstar in the data science field.”
