Ohio University’s inaugural Diversity First Luncheon is on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Baker University Center 240/242.
This is an educational opportunity that allows diverse students to learn about companies and how they celebrate diversity. Students will learn about diversity programs, recruitment initiatives, potential positions, and professional development opportunities.
This event also offers the opportunity to network with employers. This event is free for students to attend, but ALL students must register to attend this event. Registration for the luncheon closes on Feb. 7. Space is limited for this event, so register today!
This event also offers the opportunity to be selected for a financial leaderships award. Interested in applying for a Leadership Award? Please complete the application by Jan. 31.
The Career & Leadership Development Center will be providing excused absence letters for students that have schedule conflicts to encourage attendance. After registering for the event, please email the name of the professor, course name, and course number to Tamika Williams, williat8@ohio.edu. All letters will be available for pick up on Feb. 10 in the CLDC on the fifth floor of Baker.
