Ohio University alumna Anita Kumar was promoted to General Manager of Transition Networks, says a news release by Communications Systems, Inc.
Kumar earned an M.S. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Physics in 1994 from the College of Arts & Sciences at OHIO. She started at has been with Transition Networks, located in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area, since 2011.

Ms. Kumar joined Transition Networks in 2011; most recently she was Director of Product Management and Software Development. In her new role as General Manager of Transition Networks, she will lead all Transition Networks business operations and oversee the Electronics & Software assets in CSI. Anita will report directly to CEO, Roger Lacey.
Prior to joining Transition Networks, she held positions in Product Management and Software Engineering at global organizations such as ADC, Nortel Networks, Lucent Technologies, AT&T and Ericsson-Raynet. Ms. Kumar has a Ph.D. from Ohio University in high energy particle physics and a B.S. from University of Mumbai (formerly known as University of Bombay).
