Thirty-seven alumni—from across the Arts & Sciences departments and majors—were honored on Oct. 25 at the College of Arts & Sciences biennial Notable Alumni Award celebration.
The award recognizes outstanding Arts & Sciences alumni in appreciation of their broad career accomplishments, their commitment to community service, and their valuable contributions to Ohio University and the College of Arts & Sciences.
“It was such a privilege to honor our Notable Alumni, who came from near and far, from nine miles up the road to over 9,300 miles traveling from Malaysia. Alumni represented all 19 Arts & Sciences departments, graduating from 1951 to 2018 and represented 17 disciplines,” said Lisa Cohen, Senior Director of External Relations.
“We invite you to learn more about their amazing accomplishments and possibly reminisce about your Bobcat days as you read about some of their favorite memories,” she said. For more information about the Notable Alumni awards, contact Cohen at cohenl@ohio.edu.
