Ohio University’s Patton College of Education hosts its 2019 Literacy Conference “Bringing Literacy to Life!” on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in McCracken Hall.
The keynote and featured speaker is Tanny McGregor, author of Ink & Ideas: Sketchnotes for Engagement, Comprehension, and Thinking.
Other featured speakers include:
- Denise Fleming, picture book author and illustrator
- Jorma Kaukonen, musician and author
- Thanhhà Lại, middle grade and young adult author (via Skype)
- Jordan Sonnenblick, middle grade and young adult author (via Skype)

Same-day registration for individual sessions will be available at the conference at a rate of $20 persession, until maximum room capacities are reached. Pre-registration is highly encouraged.
