The Center for Law, Justice & Culture and Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity will host Southeastern Ohio Legal Services on April 2 at 7 p.m. in Bentley Hall 240.
The presentation, which will be presented by SEOLS Senior Staff Attorney Peggy Lee, will focus on tenants’ rights under the Fair Housing Act, including the right to reasonable accommodations and reasonable modifications. Lee joined SEOLS in 1996, where she has practiced in landlord tenant law. She holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School.
The presentation will be followed by a brief discussion about the rent escrow and security deposit process and a Q&A.
The event is free and open to the public.
