Camp Boost is a three-week summer camp that helps students get a jump start on the school year in a fun, social environment.
The activities at camp include outdoor sports such as soccer and softball, swimming, art, academic activities, and games. Campers will work on improving social, organizational, athletic, and coping skills.
Camp Boost is open to children between the ages of 6-12, but they will reserve openings for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Optional parent workshops will also be offered to caregivers of campers.
Camp dates for this upcoming summer are July 22 through Aug. 9, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is located on Ohio University’s Athens campus. The total cost of camp is $265, and attendance is expected all three weeks.
