Madeline Bishop, a junior forensic chemistry major pursuing both the genetics and toxicology tracks, was awarded the Dr. Anthony Andrews scholarship by the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Bishop plans on going to graduate.
“Outside of class, I work as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate CHEM 1210 lab, as well as participate in chemistry-related organizations like Alpha Chi Sigma (professional chemistry fraternity) and Delta Delta Epsilon (honors forensics fraternity),” Bishop says. “I also enjoy singing with the Ohio University’s Women’s Ensemble.
“It is my hope that through my work here at OHIO I can live up to Dr. Andrews’ legacy in forensic chemistry.”
