The Alliance Review reports that Ohio University alum Courtlen Vizzuso ’18 was selected for a fellowship in a story headlined “Alliance native receives legislative fellowship.”
Vizzuso earned a B.A. in Political Science and a Certificate in Law, Justice & Culture from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University.
Alliance native Courtlen Vizzuso has been selected to participate in the Ohio Legislative Service Commission Legislative Fellowship Program. Vizzuso is one of 24 fellows selected for the paid, full-time position. The 13-month program began in December.
The program is nationally recognized and will take place at the Statehouse and the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in Columbus. It gives participants the chance to gain first-hand experience in state government. They will work with members of the Ohio General Assembly and take part in monthly educational seminars examining different aspects of public policy.
