Appalachian Stories: A Conversation about Environment and Health in the Region, Nov. 29

The Sustainability Studies theme announce another Climate Conversation event on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Alden Library 319, on “Appalachian Stories: A Conversation about Environment and Health in the Region.”

Dr. Michele Morrone will lead a conversation about environment and Health in the Appalachian region.

Morrone is a Professor of Environmental Health at Ohio University and the Director of the Appalachian Rural Health Institute. Her research focuses on Appalachian health issues, specifically the social determinants of health disparities. Her current book project is Ailing in Place: Environmental Health in Appalachia.
