Dr. Mirna Zakić
Ohio University history professor Mirna Zakic will talk about her forthcoming article “Hidden in Plain Sight: Jewish Children’s Survival in the Occupied Serbian Banat.” The article is related to research that Zakic conducted for her recently published book Ethnic Germans and National Socialism in Yugoslavia in World War II.
Zakic’s talk on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 4:30 p.m. in Baker 231 is jointly presented by the Contemporary History Institute and the History Department Faculty Research Seminar series.
