Christine Adams
Graduate student Christine Adams’s essay “Terms of Venery” was selected by judge Carmen Maria Machado as the winner of the Prairie Schooner Creative Nonfiction Contest.
Adams is a doctoral student studying nonfiction in Ohio University’s English Department. She will receive a prize of $500, and her essay will appear in the Spring 2019 issue of Prairie Schooner.
Readers can find Adams’s work in Ploughshares Online, Best New Poets 2014, Best New Poets 2016, and Best New Poets 2018.
She is also a reader for New Ohio Review, one of OHIO’s literary magazines.
