As the new OHIO Honors Program welcomes its first cohort of students to campus this fall, program administrators are reaching out to ask faculty across the university to contribute to the success of the program by building on their existing courses to develop challenging curricular experiences for Ohio University students.
To support faculty in that process, OHIO Honors staff members have worked with the Office of Instructional Innovation to develop a workshop that will help faculty add honors components to the syllabi of existing classes and propose adaptations that could be included in the OHIO Honors curriculum. Faculty members who complete the workshop and submit a proposal are eligible to receive $400 in compensation from the program.
