Ohio University alum Morris L. Hawk ’90 is one of four labor and law attorneys joining the firm Roetzel & Andress LPA, according to an announcement.
Hawk earned a B.A. in English from the Honors Tutorial College and a Contemporary History Certificate from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University. He earned a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
At Roetzel & Andress, Hawk focuses on labor and employment law, workers’ compensation, commercial litigation, construction and gaming law, representing both privately owned and publicly held corporations.
“He counsels employers on day-to-day employment law issues and represents them in litigation before administrative agencies and in federal and state court. Mr. Hawk also advises employers on employee benefits issues, including drafting executive compensation agreements and assisting in compliance issues related to qualified plans. In addition to his labor and employment practice, Mr. Hawk represents businesses in commercial and construction litigation and represents two national retailers in premises liability matters in Ohio,” says the announcement.
