The Food Studies theme veggie sale is Tuesday, July 10, in the Grover Atrium from noon to 2 p.m. Free samples of chocolate zucchini cake and zucchini bread are available, along with easy to follow recipes.
The Friday veggie market is July 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Ohio University Student Farm on West State Street.
“If Fridays don’t work, you may stop by the farm from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Thursdays to buy veggies. Interns will be there to assist you in harvesting what you’d like,” notes Kelsey Bryant. For more information or would like to place an order, contact her at kb578415@ohio.edu.
Proceeds from the sale help to fund summer internships for OHIO students interested in learning about local food systems.
