Dr. Ronan Carroll, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Ohio University, attended the 5th Meeting on Regulating with RNA in Bacteria and Archaea in Seville Spain from March 19th to 22.
The meeting focused on the mechanisms through which bacteria and archaea regulate cellular processes using RNA molecules.
“At the meeting I presented work that was performed in my lab here at Ohio University. We have shown how a newly discovered small regulatory RNA is involved in toxin production by Staphylococcus aureus,” Carroll said.
