Thinking about your future? Graduating soon? Develop real-world problem-solving skills through AmeriCorps, the national service project.
Learn more at an AmeriCorps informational meeting on Tuesday, April 10, form 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Alden Library 319. Attendees will learn about interesting jobs and opportunities from directors and current AmeriCorps volunteers, as well as how to apply for those positions.
AmeriCorps is a fantastic way for college students to gain full-time, real-world experience in their field of interest while being paid and earning an educational award to pay back student loans or apply to future education ($5,800 per year). There are opportunities in all states. Positions include non-profit organizations, agencies, schools and community-based programs.

- Eric Long, COMCorps, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
