Ohio University alum and attorney Brian Amery holds a lunch discussion for students interested in a legal career on Tuesday, April 3, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in the Center for Law Justice & Culture.
Amery graduated from Ohio University with a B.A.of Business Administration and an M.B.A. He then attended Georgetown University where he earned a Juris Doctor. He is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as before several U.S. District Courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal.
Amery is Managing Principal Attorney at Bressler, Amery & Ross, a law firm with more than 180 attorneys and locations in New Jersey, New York, Florida, Alabama and Washington, D.C. He focuses in business litigation.
He has been involved in many multi-million dollar lawsuits in front of both juries as well as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He has tried to conclusion more than 125 securities claims. He has been recognized in New Jersey Super Lawyers from 2005-18 and by New York Metro Super Lawyers from 2005-17.
All students who are interested in a legal career are encouraged to come to the discussion. Free pizza will be served.
