As you’re crafting those perfect fall schedules, consider your personality and preferences.

Not an early bird? Try to schedule classes that begin later in the morning so you’re not jumping out of bed five minutes before class. Give yourself enough time to wake up and go to class alert and ready to learn.

Have a tendency to procrastinate? Schedule an hour between classes so you can finish up reading and homework assignments. The gap between classes can also be used to review – comes especially handy before the quizzes and tests.

Some other things to keep in mind when scheduling are eating and medication schedules, whether or not you will be working, student organization meetings, etc. There are many pieces to the puzzle, but considering how you operate and all of your prior obligations will make the process go more smoothly.

Finally, be flexible when it comes to scheduling. Morning and late night classes are there for a reason!
