DADD is accepting applications for a summer internship at its New York office, starting June 1 to Sept. 10, 2018.
The internship involves assisting with organizing the 18th Annual GAIN Conference of German Researchers – the largest forum for German Ph.D. students, postdocs, and professors working in North America. A significant portion of the conference consists of a large career fair with over 60 exhibitors from all areas of the German research landscape.
Duties will entail a wide spectrum of tasks from helping with administrative matters to communication with clients, as well as organizational and planning activities, depending on the needs of the German Academic International Network.
DADD, the world’s largest funding organization for the international exchange of students and researchers, is looking for applicants who
- Are fluent in German and English, native German speaker preferred
- Have an interest in higher education and science policy
- Like working in an office environment and are highly organized
Applicants must have a valid U.S. work permit. Interns will receive a stipend of $750 a month.
