In the Disney College Program and Disney International Programs, participants experience the magic of Disney while interacting with guests, learning important business philosophies and making friends from all over the world.
While working in front line roles at Disney Theme Parks and Resorts, participants may network with leaders, learn transferable skills, gain real-world experience and be a part of a team of cast members from hundreds of job disciplines.
Within each program participants will experience a Living, Learning and Earning component.
Living: Participants have the opportunity to meet and live with people from all over the world within Disney in company-sponsored housing complexes. These complexes are diverse in their floor plans and amenities, while offering the opportunity to meet fellow participants and create a sense of home in a comfortable living community. This housing is only allowed for participants of the program, and no one under the age of 18 is permitted in housing. To make the living experience more convenient, the housing costs are deducted from the participant’s weekly paycheck automatically. That way, they never have to worry about missing a payment.
Learning: There are many educational offerings such as collegiate courses, seminar offerings, self-paced learnings, and many additional learning opportunities. Whether a participant is receiving academic credit for participating in the structured courses, there’s plenty to learn on either program. Disney’s multicultural environment encourages everyone to achieve both personal and professional growth.
Earning: Participants earn much more than weekly pay for their role within Theme Parks and Resorts, as every role is important and provides a unique and diverse working experience. From costumes to role responsibilities, participants will find that no two jobs are the same. However, all participants have the opportunity to develop their communication, hospitality and problem-solving skills while working on their confidence and self-reliance. In fact, the work experience for the Disney College & International Program is recommended for 3-9 credits through the American Council on Education, depending upon participant’s program length.
The application deadline for this season is Friday, March 23.
