The city of Moraine has hired Ohio University alum Bryan Chodkowski ’99 as its new City Manager, effective in June, reports WTDN.
Chodkowski earned B.A. in Political Science from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University. He is currently the Town Manager of Enfield, Conn.
Chodkowski comes to Moraine from Enfield, Connecticutt, where he had served as Town Manager since 2016.
He also has ties to the Miami Valley, serving as City Manager in Riverside for nine years. Chodkowski also served as Village Manager in Sparta Michigan for four years.
“Although it is hard to replace a City Manager like Dave Hicks, the City is thrilled that Mr. Chodkowski has agreed to join the City of Moraine team,” Moraine Mayor Elaine Allison said. “His leadership and local government experience will enable the City to move forward seamlessly with the many important projects scheduled in our short and long term future.”
