Mercy Health – Cincinnati announced that family medicine specialist and Ohio University alum Julie Ploutz Adams, DO, joined Mercy Health Physicians, according to a news release.
Adams earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences-Pre-Med in 1995 from the College of Arts & Sciences at OHIO, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Ploutz Adams received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University in Athens and she completed a family practice residency at St. John West Shore in Westlake, Ohio. She is board certified in family practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Ploutz Adams also spent a year in general practice at Te Hiku Hauora Clinic in Kaitaia, New Zealand in 2016.
