Transfer students often bring great life experiences with them to campus. Anything from military training to job experience can give students a unique perspective in the classroom and can help their resume stand out to employers.
Utilize that experience to help illustrate your unique skills and knowledge when looking for internships or jobs.
Check in with the Career Leadership and Development Center on how to best highlight your assets and market yourself to employers. The CLDC is a fantastic resource which offers a wide variety of services that can help as you finish up your studies at Ohio University.
You can also drop by for walk-in career coaching appointments on Wednesdays with our Arts & Sciences CLDC representative Kacey Schaum in Wilson Hall on College Green.
