Quidel employees in the lab
Quidel Corp. is looking for at least two lab assistants at the company’s Athens location, which employs many Ohio University Bobcats from a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
These part-time, temporary positions would be ideal for students.
The Lab Assistant will be responsible in facilitating the smooth operations of our R&D labs. The employee will assist the R&D team with the general operations and compliance. See
Additional responsibilities include:
- Equipment – Perform routine and periodic maintenance on laboratory equipment as directed, monitor and update equipment logs, calibrate or certify equipment as needed.
- Lab Supplies – Monitor and order lab supplies as directed or needed.
- Lab Ware – Clean glassware and other lab equipment as needed, autoclave glassware and other items as needed.
- General – Assist in the routine cleaning and organizing of the lab as needed or directed.
- Experimental – Assist with experiments and procedures in the lab.
