The Scientific Writing Class had its annual poster session on Tuesday, Nov. 21, from 9:15 – 10 a.m. in the fourth floor hallway of Porter Hall.

PBIO 5180 Writing in the Life Sciences provides graduate students in the sciences with opportunities to practice and master skills needed for successful written communication in the science and research profession.

“We have lots of great science to share—research in bacteria, animals and plants as well as topics including American chestnuts, growth hormone, nasty little bacteria causing big problems, cell signaling, fossil morphology, cell wall proteins, F-box proteins, and more. And you can vote in the best poster contest and see what the students have been up to,” says Dr. Sarah Wyatt, Professor of Environmental & Plant Biology and director of the graduate program in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
